This was one of our favorite places we have stayed. Everything about the house made us feel like we were on vacation and not intruding on someone’s home. The forest grounds are green and lush and our kids loved sitting around the fire inside at night. We will definitely come back to this one!
Very welcoming and warm, we had no power for the 1st day, there was a generator so we were still able to use all the amenities as normal, minus the hot tub, I'm certain that staying there with no power outage is even better. Would go again, The house is cozy and the real fireplace is a genuine charm, large kitchen and plenty of room outside for kids to run around and explore.
Amazing getaway location, lots of good food nearby, easy drive to Government Camp. House is epic, and lots of small touches that make staying there so nice. Kid books and some toys, baby gate, kid dishes where all appreciated.
This is the most magical Airbnb we've ever stayed at! The house is absolutely beautiful with unique architecture and designs throughout. All the bedrooms have their own character, and the bathrooms all have amazing tubs. Beyond that, there are so many thoughtful touches to make the house extremely comfortable and cozy with plenty of reading spots, books, and blankets. Our kids loved staying up in the fun attic room and playing with the many puzzles and games. The yard and patio are beautiful and peaceful. We ate most of our meals outside and enjoyed spending time in the hot tub. This house is just as incredible as the pictures. We cannot wait to go back!
It was the perfect getaway for our large family. Positive: Everything. The entire house was wonderful. Negative: The main house bedrooms, walls were thin and you could hear anyone walking or whispering through the walls, but it’s ok :)
What a wonderful place to relax and entertain in a private, serene environment. The amenities were exactly as described, and no detail was overlooked. It’s the perfect place to get away in a tranquil setting for a gathering of multiple families or larger groups. This lodge also makes an ideal base camp for skiing or hiking, though in all honesty, you may not want to leave at all and will simply enjoy everything the house has to offer. Everything was spotless, including the hot tub water. The home has an elegant charm, and a house favorite was having a robe for everyone, which was perfect for the hot tub and sauna. Highly recommended.
This place was such an absolutely stunning gem! We came here for a company retreat to rest, recharge, and connect and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The team at Cascadia was so kind and super responsive, which made everything easy and enjoyable. The lodge was beautiful, every detail felt so thoughtful, and the décor created such a cozy, welcoming vibe. The kitchen was truly a cook’s dream! Our stay was incredibly relaxing and refreshing. I’d recommend this spot to anyone and would definitely love to come back!
The Forest Lodge is a super cozy large space for 10-12 adults. The whole house was beautiful in and out, well stocked with all the essentials, and in a serene location not far from town. If you are looking to stay in the area for a (any) special occasion, I recommend the Forest Lodge!
WOW! What a great place!!! Airbnb limits the size of reviews so I can't say all that was great, so here's a list... Gorgeous house; architecturally interesting, beautiful, large windows, cozy and well appointed in all respects. The beds were very comfortable, extra blankets provided, and interesting bathrooms: Japanese-inspired tub, a sauna, a jacuzzi tub! Incredible kitchen - well beyond what you'd expect from a vacation rental: sharp knives, numerous, quality appliances, tons of bowls,all drawers well labeled, and even a sioux vide machine. Whaaa?!?!? The hosts are beyond responsive! Great communication. My group meets up annually and we're all music heads so we bring Sonos speakers with us. We couldn't get on the guest wifi (captive network setup), and the hosts replied within 20 minutes giving us an alternative network and even instructions for resetting our Sonos speakers to connect. Beyond all expectations! I'd absolutely stay here anytime I'm in the area!
We are very happy that we could spend the week before our wedding up at Mt Hood at the beautiful Home. Exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. Thank you!

Forest Lodge was an amazing place to stay. Everything you could need was provided. The house and interior styling was beautiful. The surrounding area is breathtaking and peaceful. All the communication was fast and easy. I’d recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay.
I can’t describe how incredible this place is. A hidden forest get away that will leave you speechless at it’s beauty. We had the best time and the host was so accommodating to us. 100/10 will be coming back soon!
Forest view lodge was the best house and most beautiful house I’ve ever stayed in, just so beautiful and quiet and so spacious ! Master bedroom bathtub was amazing hot tub was cleaned & smelt amazing, everything was just beyond amazing. Cabin is for sure my #1 pick on the mountain of all houses! The owner is absolutely amazing ! Just beyond beautiful and everything you can dream of! I love that it’s got a lot of history behind it and the outside was beyond perfect nature woods everything you can expect . Thank you so much for the lovely stay and thank you so much for letting us stay and be apart of forest view lodge ❤️
This house was peaceful, eccentric in all the good ways, incredibly unique, comfortable and absolutely perfect. The host was spectacular. Even helped us get some packages delivered during our stay. We will definitely be back to this amazing house!

She kept us informed every step of the way and made sure our booking was secure, which gave us so much peace of mind. The property itself is stunning. Every guest was blown away by the space, the décor, and the overall atmosphere—it felt truly magical. From the beautiful rooms to the thoughtful touches throughout, it exceeded all expectations.
