The place has the perfect location and history, walkable to all the shops, beach access, walking trails and “night out” places. The view was spectacular full beach view. The place is and has everything for a family of 6 or two couples, the beds are comfortable and one unit has a full bathroom which is perfect. The furniture and appliances need a serious improvement, but the location and views makeup for it. Great place overall.

We love staying at Sand & Sea. Cascadia mgmt is excellent. The views were amazing. However, the unit is not worth the price it is offered. It needs many things fixed or replaced. The pull out sofa is broken, window in master is broken, no beach towels, huge crack w ceiling apart in dining room, stained & ripped curtains in living room, stained carpets, sinks & shower from the 70s, all minor details like baseboards are missing or in terrible shape, no extra blankets, very load noise starting at 6am if you sleep in the master. Noise was too load for my husband so he literally slept on the couch in a room I paid over $1,000 for! This was a huge waste of $ for my family. I will rent from Cascadia directly instead of airbnb!

Apparently, the building and the unit are being remodeled, which was not indicated in the description or pictures. There was no door to the second bedroom, just a sheet. Old interior severely needing to be updated. The view is great. WiFi was spotty.

The ocean front view was beautiful. Rooms clean. Kitchen wares well stocked. The livingrom curtains and wal paper could use updating. But overall very satisfied with the unit.

Fantastic getaway in the perfect location We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the balcony and whale watching. The unit is so close to the beach- easy access to shops and restaurants too! We are already planning to go back!

great place to stay with lots to do

Property was clean, staff great, location great, room had lots of issues. Made complaints Property fine condo not good at all except view. Would not recommend this condo

Beautiful view, great location I booked this rental for my 80 year old parents. They said, the check in was easy and staff were helpful. Great parking, very clean, and amazing view. Most importantly the boardwalk along the beach was right there as they are active, but walking on sand is now difficult, and they could walk around town.

Communication was very good. The check in and out process was very simple. The room was great, clean and w writhing g was well labeled as to how things work. Beautiful view!

Beautiful place with breathtaking views

Sand and Sea has amazing views and is close to everything in Seaside. I am a repeat guest here, visiting several times since 1989 and always enjoy my stay. Outside grounds, hallways, etc. have been updated in the past couple years and it looks great. The fabulous, friendly, and helpful staff maintain the grounds and keep the building clean. Specifically to Unit 400, while the ocean view is incredible, this unit is in need of a complete renovation. Negatives: Tattered drapes--hard to pull; carpet is horribly stained--needs replacing; worn furniture; peeling and outdated wallpaper; sofa bed lacking sheets/blankets; cooktop burners uneven making it difficult to cook on. Positives: Well stocked kitchen, working and clean appliances, nice lanai and outdoor furniture, beds adequate for sleeping, complimentary soaps, shampoo, detergents. If owner updated and renovated--this unit would be on par with other units that have been updated and more appealing for guests.
