Wonderful location, great amenities. Perfect for our family vacation.

We are hoping this will be the first of many stays in this lovely homey cabin. Despite some rainy days we were able to enjoy the hot tub every day. Cooking our meals was easy with all the supplies easy to find. Sleeping arrangements and 2 available newly updated bathrooms made for a wonderful get together with family from opposite coasts. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

It was an amazing little get away. Easy with kids and dogs. Sports court was a hit and obviously the hot tub!

Quick and easy drive to the mountain. A few fun trails to take kids to the river nearby. Plenty of games, blankets and pillows. If you’re bringing a large group of people we’d recommend bringing some bigger pots/pans to cook.

Great trip. They had everything we truly needed! Wood for the fire is just amazing. Kids loved playing pickleball. Being pregnant I feel like I can smell everything x10- so this might be just me, but I did find that when I entered the cabin there was a significant animal smell. I did open windows and aired it out and it was fine for the weekend we were there. We did bring our dogs ($100 fee per dog, not a single flat fee. Non refundable) which is why I think with a significant fee like that, we shouldn’t have noticed such a distinct dog smell if they were cleaning well enough. I think the cleaning could be done a bit more in depth- dishes had film on them and finger prints. Would have like to have more than one trash bag as a spare.

The lights on warm welcome arrival was so special! The home was perfect for our small family gathering! Cascadia was great and quickly responded when we had questions. Hot tub was great! Deck was amazing and the kitchen was great for making our family meals!

We had a really nice time at the cabin. Our kids loved the basketball hoop and pickle ball court. The kitchen was well equipped and the space was very comfortable. We’ll definitely come back.

Had a great stay with the family! The basketball/pickleball court is great to play on and the hot tub was the best to relax in towards the ends of the night. Very quiet and looks of privacy. Perfect place for a getaway with family or friends!

This property was even prettier in person than in the photos! It was clean, had all the conveniences we could possibly need, and still felt cozy. It’s hard to strike that balance between professional and feeling like you’re at home, but these guys do it right. We really appreciated having two different living room spaces as the kids would watch TV downstairs and the adults would go up to the loft and watch our scary shows. I loved walking our dog through the neighborhood and down to the river. We left with a sense of both restoration and joy. Would absolutely stay here again.

Sanctuary in the woods. My family and I enjoyed this stay so much! The property was immaculately clean! The decor was delightful, just as you would picture a mountain cabin.Each room was picture perfect.We loved the hut tub and my teens loved the basketball court too.We explored the trails and local shops during the day and came home to a comfortable and cozy spot to relax and unwind.We will return to this rental for sure!As a small side note, the two queen beds upstairs were very firm so, bringing an extra mattress topper along might be helpful if you prefer a softer sleep.

Beautiful home, close to the grocery store and ski resorts, easy to find. Accommodated all 6 of my family members just fine. The lock not working was a bit of a pain having to wait in the car while it was snowing but otherwise had a great stay.

Cozy cabin in a private area. Loved our stay! Hot tub was relaxing. Walked down to the river which was peaceful. Kitchen was fully stocked and house was neat and tidy. Loved the forest vibe. Fireplace was a great feature and they left wood for us. Lots of games as well so good for families. Check in and check out was a breeze. We will definitely return!

Our stay at Whispering Pines in Rhododendron was extremely comfortable and cozy. The house had absolutely everything we needed, including a well equipped kitchen and a good game selection. It was an easy trip up the mountain for skiing at Timberline and hiking at Mirror Lake. Thank you for a memorable spring break for our family!

This was a perfect place to call base camp after day hikes or a day at one of the many lakes. This is a beautiful area; I would return.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay here! The house is walking distance of the beautiful river and the hot tub set in nature was perfect! The host was very responsive and promptly answered our questions.

This home was incredible for our vacation and I cannot say enough great things about the management company - we had a minor issue (my elderly father was trying to stream...) and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The trail is absolutely magical and it was such a treat to start our days with a walk along the river. We love the game room but use caution in the winter, the floors get extremely wet due to condensation so it's slippery. But 10/10- can't wait to return!

We stayed here for our seasonal friend trip and we absolutely loved it. Great community spaces for games. The basketball court was awesome. The hot tub was clean and perfect. This is a great place to stay, you are close to activities and restaurants while also having everything you need and more back at the house.

Such an amazing place, this was far better than we expected! The hot tub was amazing and so cool with the lights, the game room was perfect size for my large group, and the entire home itself was spotless and so comfortable! Stay for as long as you can because it was hard to leave. Only recommend getting butter or oil if you cook or bake but other than that everything was PERFECT!

We really enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines. The location was perfect, very easy to find, only 10-15 minutes to Government Camp and tons of great stores and restaurants just a few minutes down the road. The neighborhood is nice, walkable and super private/quiet. You can get to the Zig Zag River in 2 minutes walking, it’s beautiful. The cabin itself was very nice, spacious and cozy with a great layout. It has the rustic wood cabin feel but with modern appliances and amenities that make it clean and comfortable! There is plenty to do: tons of board games, two Smart TV’s, nice jacuzzi, and the outdoor storage shed with the pickleball and basketball court inside were the icing on the cake. The house had everything you need for a long stay: laundry, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, extra linen, dog supplies, etc. would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay! Easy check in and a responsive host. The cabin was lovely, the hot tub was perfect, and the pickle ball court was the icing on the cake! Highly recommend!

Really gear spot

The living room smelled like wet dogs and we found a couple fleas. Probably just unlucky from whoever was there before us, and surely will be deep cleaned after our departure and won’t be an issue. The host was responsive but could have done more to make it right considering the price we paid. Otherwise it had everything as described and the hot tub was nice and clean.

The place is beautiful and the area is very scenic. The house is spacious and was supplied with everything described in the listing + refills. One small concern that I had is slight gas smell right after turning on the heater and/or gas stove. It goes away after a couple of minutes (faster if you open the windows). The floors downstairs (especially kitchen) are pretty cold due to being closer to the ground. So, pack additional slippers/socks.

It was a lovely stay. I would go back instantly if I could. Super peacefull and beautifull!

Lovely place!

The cabin was very comfortable with everything we could need. It was incredibly clean and warm when we arrived (on a cold winter evening). It was very welcoming and cozy. We would definitely stay here again.
